Membership of the climbing wall is open to any one aged 16 and over who can satisfactorily demonstrate the basic skills needed to climb safely:
If it's a while since you've done these book on our refresher course To become a member you should read the climbing
wall conditions of use & rules
16 & 17 year olds should get their parent or legal guardian to read the Parental notes Parental notes
Then they should fill in the 16 & 17 year old registration form and get their parent or legal guardian to read & sign the declaration at the bottom of the form To download the Registration form for 16 & 17 year olds to climb unsupervised, click here. The completed form should be presented to the reception on arrival at the wall, no need to book just turn up, with payment for the annual membership fee and members entrance fee. Entrance feesYou will then be assessed in the above skills and asked to answer a couple of questions regarding the conditions of use, rules and supervising novice climbers. We are looking for you to demonstrate the necessary skills safely using current best practice. The assessor will then award you with one of two levels of membership or recommend a course of action if they feel you are not currently ready for membership. The two possible levels of membership are Full memberThis allows you full access to our climbing facilities plus you can sign in up to two guests (novices or under 18's). You will be taking full responsibility for the supervision of your guests and you and they will have to complete the guest signing in form . To find out how to sign in a guest, click here Individual (non supervisory) memberThis allows you full access to our climbing facilities but you will not be able to bring any gests in to the wall. |
