Key Stage 2 courses
Key Stage Two courses for residential groups
run from Monday to Friday, or over a weekend. They commonly involve
a mixture of subjects such as geography, science and history, together
with an opportunity to try some of the Centres' adventure activities
like skiing and climbing. Our courses are aimed primarily at children working at the end of K.S.
2 (years five and six), but we are able to offer courses to year four
children, and all our work is differentiated from that point towards
K.S. 3. All our work is mapped to the relevant programme of study elements
within the National Curriculum. All courses are individually tailored to the specific requirements of
each school. We aim to provide education and adventure in an exciting
learning environment, and to offer challenge, academically, physically
and socially, in a safely managed environment, benefitting the whole
child in a variety of ways.
